Children’s Cuong Nhu Martial Arts Program

Ages: Ages 7+

Experience: All experience levels; beginners welcome

Season: Ongoing

Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6:00–7:30 PM; kids’ classes are ongoing and children may start at any time.

Location: 3844 Burnett Park Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32257

Cost: $160 tuition for 3 months plus $50 annual Cuong Nhu Martial Arts Association membership for one student ($210 total); free uniform with registration for at least 3 months. Family membership is $80 annually.

Equipment: Comfortable gym clothes for a trial class; students purchase a Cuong Nhu uniform (gi) after signing up. Sparring gear is required at 2 Green Stripes or Purple Belt and costs $115, including helmet, gloves, boots, shin guards, mouthpiece and case, and mesh bag.

Includes: Martial arts games, fitness, conflict avoidance, coordination and endurance training, self-defense, and life-skills development including discipline, respect, focus, self-esteem, and self-control.
