Wahoos SwimmingA developmental training group for young swimmers progressing toward competitive swimming. Swimmers are expected to attend team meets.
Program Details
Ages: 6-12 years
Experience: Developmental competitive swimming; must swim two 50s of competitive strokes
Season: Fall, winter and spring; August 5-March 28, 2026-2027
Schedule: Monday-Friday evenings; five practices are offered weekly and the fall schedule lists 5:00-6:30 PM sessions at Fletcher and Harvest
Location: Harvest Community Schools, 8301 Ft. Caroline Rd., Jacksonville, FL 32277; Fletcher/Neptune Beach, 700 Seagate Ave., Neptune Beach, FL 32266
Cost: Annual registration fee: $130.00; seasonal lump sum: $617.50; annual lump sum: $1,466.40
What Parents Should Know
Equipment: Tennis shoes and shorts for all practices; Royal Blue Wahoos cap
Includes: Two developmental levels: Level I emphasizes water comfort, basic technique and stroke development; Level II focuses on all four strokes, technique and goal-setting
